NEW YORK -It looks like Sunday could be another long day for the New YorkYankeesand Boston Red Sox.
Their series finale, scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m., did not start on time due to a projected coming rain.

Yankees center fielder Aaron Hicks exited Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader in the eighth inning with a sore right elbow.
With no rain falling, the Yankees announced at 6:40 p.m., that the start of the Sunday’s game would be delayed.
This news comes a day after the Yankees played a day-night doubleheader at Yankee Stadium on Saturday due to a May 30 rainout.
The forecast for Sunday night in the Bronx isn’t terrible. According toweather.com, there was only a 15 percent chance of rain from 7 to 8, a 10 percent chance of rain from 8 to 9, and a 5 percent chance from 9 to 10.
Preparing for rain, the grounds crew at Yankee Stadium covered the tarp at 6:45 p.m., and five minutes after that a very light rain started coming down. Then five minutes after that, the rain stopped.
The first-place Yanks are going for a four-game sweep of the Red Sox on Sunday night.
The Yankees already have played five doubleheaders this season due to rainouts - they’ve swept four of them, including Saturday’s, while splitting the other - and another is scheduled for Aug. 12 at Yankee Stadium against the Baltimore Orioles.
